SCRL March Special

In recognition of the importance of the campus residential community to the ongoing success of the Campus Bike Shop, and to encourage more members of the Stanford community to enjoy the efficiency and freedom of biking, all SCRL members (family members included) will receive:

  1.  a 15% labor discount on all repairs and other services;
  2.  a 15% rental discount (also available to campus homeowner visitors) on any short or longer-term bike rentals;
  3.  free pick up and return of repair bikes; and
  4.  free loaner bikes while bikes in for repair.

For any of these special discounts and benefits, campus homeowners will need to identify themselves as a SCRL member.  Discounts and benefits end March 31, 2018, and these discounts cannot be combined with any other discount.

USED BIKES:  If you have a bike not being used, the Shop will take it in for repair, tune-up, and new parts as needed, and then provide it for sale at discount to a student in need (no tax deduction, but a good “RE-CYCLING” deed).

HELMETS:  The Campus Bike Shop continues its commitment to bike safety for members of the Stanford community by selling new helmets at only $25 as its way of supporting use of this most important safety device.

BIKE REPAIR DAYS:  Let us know if you support the idea of “Bike Repair” days at convenient locations in the residential area in the coming months.  Minor repairs would be done on site, with a chance for all (young and old) to learn more about bike care, repair, and safety.  Let the SCRL office know if this interests you, email, or call the Shop at 650-723-9300.

For the Campus Bike Shop, it is a high priority to extend and improve “bike life” throughout the Stanford community.  The Campus Bike Shop has played an important role in those efforts for more than 80 years and is committed to do even more in the years ahead.
